Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie was the first female in history to have won the CrossFit Games two times. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished the second position. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter and also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete and a famous anchor on the media. It was her fame that made her the first woman to have taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017, she took home both the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik and with her parents. From a very young age, Annie was an avid sport fan who loved exercising. Many medals were awarded to her during school competitions. She first took part in 2009 in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir's age will be 31 in 2021. She stands at 5' 7" tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie started her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She was successful in her initial competitions, placing in the top 10. Though she wasn't able to take home one of the championships however she was able to finish with an eleventh spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed with a second place finish and earned an Olympic silver medal that same year. After a year of CrossFit Games, Annie won the first CrossFit Games. The dominating display made her a winner of the title. Annie won again during the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her amazing performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. Also, in 2014 she won a silver medal and then in 2021 was the last time she took home a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie is an athlete in the making, has been featured in commercials for products that are used in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs Transparent Labs as well as other. Additionally, she runs a self-titled Youtube channel with around thousands of subscribers. There, her training diet videos, family and travel videos are shared.
